What a week so far!

I had quite a week, that is for sure. I got another shot this week, which was just fine. I kind of lost my fear for them, which is good I guess. I still hate the idea of needles though, I am not very fond of them.

Besides that, on saturday, I got my new guitar case. It was expensive but is just what I searched for. You can partically jump on it and the guitar doesn't get hurt. It's a good investment and I am sure I will buy a guitar some time in my life that will justify such an expensive case. For now I am happy with my Hohner though and that I can take it with me in July.

I got elected Feak of the Week at murmurs.com! That was pretty crazy and I never expected that, especially in so short time! I mean, I joined...uhmmm...I think late January! It was a really nice surprise and made me smile a lot. Everyone said so nice things about me! I was blushing just from reading that.

So it was a pretty good week then so far. I also rented New Adventures in Hi - Fi today, and I am glad I did. I missed that CD and I need to buy it, dang it! Well, when I am in the US I will, for now I have enough to lug with me already. :-)

Berlin trip

I had a pretty busy day going to Berlin yesterday. I got quite a few things done though, which is good. For one thing I got a case for my guitar. I needed one a lot, because if I'd check in the guitar at the airport with my old case I might as well just smash it on the floor. The case was way expensive but it is worth it. For the money I wouldn't have gotten a guitar in the US of the same quality (it's a Hohner Irish Folk) and I wanted to have a guitar there.

Besides that I was at a fanclub meeting (hockey related) and had some fun there too. I might go to one more meet since we are scheduled to have one in June with a BBQ and all, but we don't have a set date yet. Maybe by then I have to work weekends again, I am not sure. We are supposed to get another person for the Internet Café and that means working on weekends then too.

By the way, I also got gas. I spent quite a lot of money that saturday then, but I should also get paid in a while. Hopefully, that is! It has been due for 5 days and we'll probably have to wait until the end of the month. It's a shame that the goverment has money to finance weapons for every damn reason but no money to aid institutions for young people. Afterall, we are basically the only institution like that in the area, especially of such size.

Today we are recording again, so I am excited for that. I hope we can finish a few songs. That'd be awesome. But well, for now I am off to the shower I guess...

Stuff and things

The weekend is coming up. This time it is quite filled too, which is unusual for my weekends. I normally just spend them sitting around and doing stuff at home.

Saturday I will go to Berlin and buy a new case for my guitar. Since I want to take it over to the US I need a sturdy one that will make the plane trip alright. Also, I'll be going to a meeting. So saturday will be quite busy. On sunday we are recording again, at least we planned on doing so. Our singer has been pretty sick (fever) this week, but hopefully he'll be alright by sunday. If not we have to postpone it yet again, but our gig is coming up. It would be good tod to get it done all done with before that.

My week has being going pretty okay so far. I looked into object oriented programming again, which I didn't do until I gave up on Java. Work was not too bad and I had quite a bit of freetime. No complaints. ;-)

Hopefully our weather will change for the better soon. I am sick of seeing rain and cloudy skies!
